In 2002, Paulo Diaz and myself, had the lifetime opportunity to meet one of the heaviest, The Most Famous Unknown Artist to ever Live, Abdul Mati Klarwein and Family. We were in Barcelona, skating for Adidas at the time. Paulo had a Juxtapose Magazine with an interview of Mati Klarwein Art. All through our childhood, teenage hood, adult hood, we recognized and studied his art. Found on Miles Davis’s Bitches Brew, Santana Abraxas, Jimi Hendrix, and many more. We were in Barcelona at the time travelling through, staying at hostels, Skating through the streets of Barcelona, creating art, playing musical instruments, and getting inspired. Paulo picked up Oud

of traditional Classical aucustic
guitars in Madrid. Being in Spain
